University Research Experience: Currently involved in
research work and interests in applied material science: the study of the
electronic properties of piezoelectric and ferroelectric materials, and
the development/characterization of piezoelectric materials and devices.
Also, interested in the studies of magnetic material properties.
Industrial Experience: Experience in the research, development
and testing of piezoelectric materials and devices for undersea applications;
quality control and reliability training and experience with the development
of telecommunication cellular provider equipment. Also, have engineering/technical
project management training.
Military/Government Research Experience: Experience in
experimental and theoretical research to develop models of dynamic soil
properties under 1-D (nuclear explosions) and 3-D conditions. Developed
techniques for predicting ground motion due to impulsive loads.
